Desire

Standing in the freezing darkness of death valley
Uprooting the poison tree
Only a few brave sailor
wanted to implant a slice of light
in unyielding determination

I have learnt only from them,
This is the way how baby paddyflowers
are taught the lessons of light
And to shoulder the yoke of painful ailments

Those who went hurriedly to another world
To distant islands in search of light,
Putting our emptiness
in those silvery pots
Let’s go and keep them in the land of silence.
