Poems by Saleha Chowdhury

Alone
A silent corridor
Floats a brown envelope
Coolishly alone.
Beauty
Spring garden
Multifoliate roses bloom
Sky! a full moon.
Butterfly
A yellow butterfly
Under the vast sky
Neither you nor I.
Haunting Tune
Ages ago we shared a song
At the sink, in my boring kitchen
The tune haunts.
Romance
A boy meets a girl
Romance begins
When pen kisses a paper
Doodles and writings.
Calling
Hey you! Calls the star
Down! a blade of grass shivers.
