I first saw her at a bookstall at the Bangla Academy’s Ekushey Book Fair. She was staring at the pages of a book. As I approached, my eyes fell on the last part of the book. I am also looking for this book! As soon as I took my eyes off the pages of the book, my eyes fell on the girl’s face. The face is very beautiful. She was wearing a blue silk sari, a beautiful dark red velvet blouse. The sleeves of the blouse is up to the two elbows.
| saw that the girl was beautiful to look at. Going to the boy at the bookstall and I asked for the desired book, the boy said, “There is only one book, that’s Apa’s hand.” He looked at the girl and asked, “Apa, will you take it? If not, give it here. ” The boy’s words did not reach the girl’s ears. I never wanted to deprive someone of something. So without telling the boy at the bookstall, I walked from there to the next stall.
I couldn’t find the book in a few stalls next door, so I thought I would have to download it from the Internet. When I remembered the rehearsal of the play, I forgot about the book. My real job now is to memorize the dialogue of the play. Final rehearsal the day after tomorrow. Rafat Bhai has repeatedly asked to memorize the dialogue. I could not get out of the room for the next two days as I was busy memorizing the dialogue.
The day of the final rehearsal came forward. I left for the Natyakala Building of the varsity in the morning. I was relieved to find one day after the rehearsal. Kankana’s face floated in the corner of my mind. Thinking about Kankana’s face, the face of the girl I saw at the fair the day after yesterday suddenly appeared on the my mind. she is more beautiful than Kankana. When Rafat Bhai’s loud voice came to his ears, his thoughts were interrupted. ‘Bachhu, I told you to take Soheli instead of Kankana. But you determined to Kankana instead of Soheli ”. I did not finish talking Rafat Bhai and I said, “That Kankana is coming. Honestly Kankana is coming towards the rehearsal room, who is with Kankana? Do I know that girl? I thought to myself that Rafat Bhai maybe thinking about that girl. He is angry with Kankana for coming late, it is understood by looking at Rafat Bhai’s face.
Howerver, Rafat Bhai could not remain angry after Kankanar. Kankana’s body language is such that when she comes to the front, even the angry people smile. Kankana came forward and said with a sweet smile, “Rafat Bhai, you must be angry after me, and you should be angry. But if you listen to me, you will not be angry with me. ” Rafa Bhai stopped her and then asked what had happened to her. I did not hear what Kankana answered. Because then my mind was on the girl who came with Kankana. I thought, Did I see this girl in the book stall the day before yesterday. I can’t how that girl will come here? Later I listened to what Kankana said to Rafat. was saying to her . Surprising to hear her! The girl is Kankana’s cousin,. The girl’s name is Tithi. I thought, the girl didn’t recognize me. She wasn’t supposed to see me in the way the girl was reading the book that day. While talking to Kankana with Rafat Bhai, I thought of the girl. I never thought a girl would look at me once and take her eyes off me, because I have such masculine charm in my face. That’s why my friends enjoy calling me Ramonimohan. I did not talk to the girl that day.
My conversation with the girl is unexpected. When I saw Tithi standing at the door of the green room with a bouquet of flowers in her hand after the performance of ‘Biday Abhisap’, I thought that the girl must have come to congratulate her cousin Kankana. Immediately my mistake was broken by the girl’s words.
“Congratulations on a great performance!” The girl said holding a bouquet of flowers in my hand. I didn’t think so. I was relieved to find that Kankana was not here. I know, I have a soft corner to the beautiful girls Will Kankana’s cousin Tithi congratulate me with a bouquet of flowers? I have no hesitation in saying that I also like you as well as Kankana.

After that day, I met Tithi again at the ”Prathama’ bookstall upstairs in Aziz Super Market. she came there with her cousin Kankana. Kankana was not there, she was looking for books in another counter Although I talked to Kankana that day, but I did not talk to her cousin Tithi.
That night I got a phone call from Tithi. “Why didn’t you talk to me at the ‘Prathama bookstall? Kankana Apa was busy looking at the book in other book stall.” How can I explain to the girl why I did not talk to her. It would not be right to talk her there.
When I hesitated to answer her, the girl said from the other end of the phone, “I will not see you Tomorrow I wlll go shopping with Kankana apa again. But can’t we meet alone the day after tomorrow? I thought for a while and asked her, “Will your Kankana Apa or Apa’s mother allow you to go out with me?” Tithi thought for a while and told me, “please you come Kankana’s house. Kankana with us we’ll talk joyfully. I said, “How can I go to their house if Kankana not invite me? ” “when you don’t come my invitation, I have to invite you by Kankana Apa, Let’s see how you don’t come then. ” I replied, “Your Kankana Apa will not tell me to go to their house now.” “Okay, why Apa does not invite you.” Tithi said angrily.
I would always go to Kankana’s house in the afternoon without Kankana’s invitation. Kankana’s mother would have been happy if I had gone. I asked whether Kankana would be happy or not. In the conversation of Kankana’s mother, I realized that she has a desire around me and Kankana.

You’ve been looking at my beautiful sister ever since. I noticed clearly. You don’t call me for three days, but with Tithi you are talking on the phone all the time. How can you think I don’t understand! ” When I mumbled and tried to say something, Kankana said from the other end of the phone in a slightly harsh tone, “Come here this afternoon, I will sit face to face and talk to you.” Before I could say anything, he cut the line. l know Kankana is an accomplished lady. she doesn’t hesitas to speak. Her body structure is nice and face is too much beatiful than her cousin Tithi. I thought it was wise to avoid Tithi now, even if she was good looking. My phone rang. That’s what I thought, Tithi’s phone! “Are you coming now?” Tithi asked me in a sweet voice. “Sorry, my mother’s health is not good, I just got the news. I am leaving for Bhola now. ” I made up and told Tithi. Tithi’s depressed voice came from the other end of the phone.
More than two years have passed since then. But I did not treat Devyani like Kach. Kankana and I have been living at home for about two year and six months. In the meantime, our son Avi has been born.
I don’t know if Kankana has any connection with Tithi. I have no clue about her. Because I know the Tithi is none of mine
