State

What will I designate the state
Between the sleep and the insomnia?
You decided the name, and the name
Resided the whole night on my eyes.
The ‘I in flesh-and-blood’ and
The ‘Unconscious I’
Quarreled all the way, and
You enjoyed it all
Removing the burden from you!
Now see me-
There is no solution of the captivation
While the Horse of Touch runs
Knowingly
Unknowingly.

Cost of Pain

The quay is full of sand
And also of water.
I waded ceaselessly to
wipe all my pains.
But see!
The Mahananda is coming with
the wet sari!
I asked, ‘Why? Why behind me?’
She asked instead, ‘Where should I keep
the pains you shaded?’
I got her. Yes, pain is like water
that approves the dimension of the vessel!
I am unable to get back those pains!
They have drifted in the watercourse
And turned into an ocean!
