Poems by— Anjali De Nandee, Mom

I am not there
When u look at the full moon,
Then u see my smiling face
In it’s surface.
When u touch on the tides of the sea,
Then among them, u see and see…
My smiling eyes.
When u see again and again
To the blooming of the flowers,
You see my smiling teeth, then,
On their all petals.
And when u enjoy with their fragments,
Then u feel my heart beats.
When u arise at dawn hours,
Then u watch my blinkless-look
On the calm Dawn-star,
On the sky, from too far.
When u become helpless
For strom’s powers,
Then u realize me in your breathes.
When u are only lover, selfless,
Then if you want to peep in your mind,
Then I am not there.
Obviously then I am shined
In your forehead as lucky rays.
Because I am your necessities always,
In your life’s ways.
You never love me, dear.
So, in very far future, in my next birth,
On your lovely earth,
I will be your love-tear.
At a lonely night
The sky is covered by the clouds.
It’s a very dark night.
I am alone.
I am walking on my lawn.
Under street light,
Here is an old man.
The lonely night is his only company.
I call him and gift food.
He says, ” God is very good. ”
After some time,
The rain comes down.
Now my dear town,
It’s bathing and also the street-man.
He says too loudly,
” Really my life is too funny.
Once upon a time,
I built this street,
And now it’s my shelter.
On it,
Here is my feet,
And also when I sleep on it,
Then my head is also on it.”
I hear his wards from far,
Under my roof of my shelter.
